It was great to be back at the Evangelical Bible Church of Manzini again.\u00a0 The service lasted from 9 to 11:30am, but it did not seem that long.\u00a0 Testimonies are a big part of the service and took over 30 minutes before they had to eventually be ‘cut off’.\u00a0 Pastor Deon titled his message, “Hacking [destroying] the Agags in our life.”\u00a0 The text was from I Samuel 15 with an emphasis on obeying all the Lord’s commands.\u00a0 Get rid of ALL the evil influences in our lives, not just most of them!<\/p>\n

\"141019<\/a>After church we went to the Sambane restaurant south of Malkerns, next to the Swazi Candles factory.\u00a0 Their menu was quite short.\u00a0 Virginia ordered the fish entree.\u00a0 Mark and I ordered their chicken strips.\u00a0 It was quite tasty and the price was reasonable.<\/p>\n

\"141019<\/a>After dinner we browsed through Swazi Candles and some of the other curio shops.<\/p>\n

We took the long way back to Manzini, via Mankayane, through the man-made forests of Bunya, and Mhlambanyatsi<\/span>, then via Mbabane.\u00a0 We made a pit stop at Forester Arms Hotel —\u00a0www.forestersarms.co.za<\/a> —\u00a0 in Mhlambanyatsi and bought soft drinks.\u00a0 Virginia and I had stayed there a long time ago and the stop brought back some good memories.\u00a0 In Mbabane, we drove by the Mbabane Clinic —\u00a0www.theclinicgroup.com\/mbabane-clinic<\/a> — to show Mark where he was born almost 16 years ago.\u00a0 Our sons, Samuel and Joshua, were also born there when it was still run by Campus Crusade.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was almost dark when we got home.\u00a0 It turned out to have been a long day!<\/p>\n

We finished up on our McGuiReport, so that it can be emailed to the proofreader when we get to the transmitter site tomorrow.\u00a0 The internet connection at Mkhaya Bella is way too slow to consider even trying it here.<\/p>\n
